For once, anyone who survives half a century in a world full of disorder, unrest, and every other factor that makes life unbearable, deserves a standing ovation, even though such individual owes his creator so much gratitude. She, however, returned to Nigeria where she bagged a Diploma in Mass Communication and Bachelors of Arts Degree in Theatre Arts, all from the University of Jos, Plateau state. So, it is evident where the Yoruba woman picked up the habit of speaking the Hausa language.

The fifty years of Aunty Ireti’s sojourn on earth has seen her become a friend of the screen. Her appearance on television as an anchor and actor has made the name Iretiola Doyle a household name. She has to her credit several television shows and movies including “The Arbitration”, “Dinner”, “The Wedding Party” among others. She also features on the cable series “Tinsel”.

Aunty Ireti has been nominated and recognized for several awards as a result of her prowess in acting. With the journey so far, the mother of five has continued to wax stronger even at her age. This connotes that it is not over for Aunty Ireti; she has a lot to achieve. The star of Fifty is Fifty.
